- How long have you been in business?
PRO-OP has been serving Northern Califronia for over 30 years.
- What sets your business apart from competitors?
PRO-OP is ABO certified, and specializes in the repair and modification of eyeglass
frames ONLY.
- How long does it take to repair my glasses?
Most repairs can be completed in about 1 hour. Some repairs may take longer, we will
let you know before we begin if we need to keep your glasses for a prolonged period.
- Will the repair hold?
Yes. Most frames are as strong or stronger than they were before they were damaged.
Most of our repairs come with a 90 day "normal wear and tear" warranty.
- Do I need an appointment?
No. We are on a walk in basis.
- Where are you located?
Our address is 2222 Sunrise
Blvd. Gold River, CA 95670. We are in the Sunriver Village Shopping Center, between Coloma Road and Trinity River Drive, just a few blocks north of Highway 50.
- When are you open?
Our hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday(holidays excluded).
- What if I can't bring my glasses in?
You are welcome to send us your glasses via UPS, FEDEX, or Insured US Mail. Be sure to
include your name/address, and phone number, and we will contact you with information
regarding cost of repair and return shipping. Payment is by Check or VISA/MasterCard,
and must be tendered before repairs begin.
- Do you sell frames?
We do not sell eyeglass frames. We specialize in frame repair and modifications only.
- My Titanium frames broke, can you repair them?
You may have been told Titanium can not be repaired. WE REPAIR TITANIUM.
- What about Sunglasses?
Sunglasses are repairable just as any regular eyeglass frame would be.
- What can be repaired?
Almost anything. Most any solder point, repair of pad arms, replacement hinges,
re-attachment of bridge, etc.
- Can plastic be repaired?
Yes, in most cases, plastic is repairable. Replacing hinges is a very common repair
on plastic frames.
- Are new parts available for my eyeglass frame?
Yes. We carry a large inventory of replacement parts for your eyeglass frames,
such as temples, pads, temple covers, etc.
